Madden 21 update adds Deflator and gameplay modifications

EA Sports released a new update of Madden 21 with the aim of correcting a large number of errors that were affecting the gaming experience of a lot of users in the game.

The update has also added new abilities to some players, as well as modifications to defensive coverage, catching, tackling, and many other aspects of the gameplay, and also has become the subject of criticism by the experts of Madden 21 and by a good part of this game community.

To clarify the whole situation, EA has published the notes related to this update. All the changes will be applied in the game after downloading the update. You can see the details here:

  • (NEW) Run Committed – Defenders with this ability will dominantly win run blocks when they correctly use the Guess Play adjustment to predict a run. Incorrect guesses will result in a loss.
  • (NEW) Pass Committed – Defenders with this ability will win pass blocks when they correctly use the Guess Play adjustment to predict a pass. Incorrect guesses will result in a loss.
  • (NEW) Deflator – Defenders with this ability will cause increased fatigue penalties when tackling a Ball Carrier with a non-conservative tackle.

The first two abilities will allow the defender to shed a run or pass block, as long as the user guessed the opposing team play.

However, if you make a mistake when trying to guess the play your action will end in a loss. On the other hand, the Deflator ability will allow defensive players to cut penalty fatigue on ball carriers, an advantage they didn't have before.

Defenders will have more possibilities in the game thanks to this new update, so this is a great opportunity to buy Madden Coins and acquire good defensive players that allow you to take advantage of all these new stuff.

The update also adds the ‘enforcer’ ability.

The enforcer ability was added to the game to fix an issue that caused CPU-Controlled defenders to hit-stick tackles too often, causing more fumbles than there should be in a normal game, making matches unrealistic and making gameplay appear rough and unpolished.

Users will be able to use these abilities on their Madden cards, but they will have to spend their Madden Training Points to do it. Of course, only players with the necessary overall ratings will have these new abilities available.

Beyond the effort of EA Sports to improve the gameplay of the title, many YouTubers have already commented that they consider this new update as a mistake since it completely changes the way of playing games and gives too much power to some defensive players above others, completely unbalancing the gameplay they already loved since the beginnings of the series.

What do you think about this new update? It will be useful? You can buy some cheap Madden 21 coins on MUTeamGo now.
